It belongs to the superficial smoothing treatments as it forms a resistant keratin film on the outer cortex of the hair which with the heat stretches hardens giving straightening and protection to the daily stress from temperature, environmental pollutants and incorrect treatment.
How does it work:
Our unique biopolymer ingredient is essentially a 'liquid form of hair' that gently blends with the hair on your head, both inside and out. It also gives the hair components that were missing from the beginning and that have been lost over time.
The smallest keratin molecules penetrate the hair cortex improving and repairing its quality from the inside. Keratin fills in the gaps between the cuticle and the hair shaft and then sealing is achieved with a high heat flat iron.
This way frizz is reduced and strength and elasticity are added, while strengthening is achieved as the added weight of keratin smoothes and tames curls. Larger keratin molecules coat the scalp on the outside and protect it from environmental damage caused by factors such as UV rays, smog and other pollutants.
The Original Brazilian Keratin Treatment and the Chocolate Brazilian Complex Keratin Treatment
In addition to keratin, the Chocolate Brazilian Complex Keratin Treatment also contains a blend of essential amino acids, consisting of eleven other proteins, cupuacu butter, cocoa butter, mineral oils, linseed oil proteins and essential oils. If your client's hair is very coarse, African-type or has excessively tight curls, the chocolate formula will have a more drastic effect than the original formula. The difference in results is that the blend of essential amino acids and various oils make the formula heavier, pressing the hair and leaving it straighter.
